Why to visit Gurudwara Sahib Pushkar

Amidst the city, this gurudwara of 19th century has everyone's heart. Guru Gobind Singh (about 1706), as well as Guru Nanak Dev, are said to have visited Pushkar. It is a subsidiary of the Ajmer-based Singh Sabha. Gurudwara Singh Sabha is housed in a two-story building near the main bus station. Chetan Das, a preacher, provided excellent service to Guru Gobind Singh. Gobind Ghat is still engraved in Gurumukhi, Devanagari, Persian, and Roman letters on a stone slab beneath a kiosk. Furthermore, Gobind Ghat was named for the actual location where Guru stayed and lived.

Gurudwara Singh Sabha can be visited at any time, depending on your schedule and the weather. Winter in Rajasthan is the finest season for pleasant travel.

Special Tip

It is mandatory to cover your head with a scarf or dupatta and wear descent or proper clothes to visit the gurudwara.
