The enormous thali—or should we call it a thaal—is called after the Sarpanch, or head of the village, and it contains 15 kilogrammes of mutton, which is divided among the numerous dishes that make up the thali.
The thali also comprises five different types of mutton fry along with tambda rassa, kaala rassa, and other gravies.The Patil Thaali, a sized version of the Sarpanch Thali, and three other chicken thali options are also available.
