Why to visit Taljai Hills

The location, which is tucked away in the Western Ghats and enjoys a lovely climate almost all year, has a number of attractions for environmentalists and shutterbugs. Morning and evening walks in the open woodland area are a peaceful experience.

The famed Taljai Mata Devi temple, which is located atop the hill, is well-known among Punekars. The road to the temple is a zigzag bituminous trail through the forest that requires hiking because no cars can reach the top of the hill.

Because the forest is not dense, you will have plenty of time to explore the area while hiking up to the temple. During your tour, you may see a variety of migratory birds, unusual butterfly species, peacocks, and rabbits in their natural habitat.
