Why to visit National War Museum

A war memorial called the National War Museum was built in honour of the Kargil War heroes. On August 15, 1998, it was officially opened after being constructed using public donations.

The small red arrow markings on the floor will direct you as you move around the three halls of the museum. It holds a variety of military-grade equipment, firearms, and ammunition. A section is devoted to Shivaji's Maratha military strategies and equipment. Additionally, it holds the Indian army's missiles and explosives.
