One of the hill forts in Pune, Lohagad Fort rises to a height of roughly 3,388 feet and is situated close to the hills of Lonavala and Pune to the northwest. This fort was primarily ruled by the Maratha Empire for a considerable amount of time, then for a brief period by the Mughal Empire.
