A 13-foot-long king cobra is also part of this amazing collection. Mr Neelam Kumar Khaire, the park's first director, established the Katraj Snake Park in 1986 with the help of the Pune Municipal Corporation on the property that would later become the Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park.
