Why to visit Appu Ghar Amusement Park
This is one of the best spots to take your family in Pune. It holds the distinction of being Pune's first amusement park, which opened in 1984. Appu was the name of an elephant who served as a mascot for the Asian Games held in Delhi in 1982.
Appu Ghar Amusement Park is located in Nidgi, Pune, and is also known as Indira Gandhi Udyan, which was previously known as Bund Garden. The park is known as the small Disney Land of Pune since it has a plethora of entertaining rides, a tranquil lake, and mountainous terrains.
The park has rides for everyone, including children and adults, and some of them are quite thrilling, such as a roller coaster and My Fair Lady. Children's rides include the helicopter, Appu Express, Gammat Girki, kiddy boat, Jumping Frog, and others.

- Adults chargee is INR 300 per person approx (Entry fee along with all Rides)
- Children charges is INR 250 per person approx (Entry fee along with all Rides)
Appu Ghar is opened throughout the week. This amusement park is open every day from noon until eight o'clock. Additionally, entry is subject to a small cost. Numerous packages are also available for the convenience of the guests, responding to various preferences and interests.
