Why to visit Quartier Latin

It is home to a number of prestigious educational institutions, including the Ecole des Mines de Paris, the Schola Cantorum, the Ecole Polytechnique, and the Ecole Normale Supérieure. Luxembourg Park is a private landscape garden that surrounds the Senate House, the Palais du Luxembourg, and is famed for its beautiful fountains. The garden also hosts a number of sporting events, including the French Tennis Championships.

Quartier Latin, which is located on the Seine's bank, is at the top of the list of must-see tourist attractions in Paris. Popular performance venues in the district include the Paradis Latin, the Théâtre de l'Odéon, and the Caveau de la Huchette.

Special Tip

If you're in the area, head to Sushi Wasabi if you're in the mood of Japanese cuisine and order their Pho, which is a beef noodle soup that I strongly suggest!
