Why to visit Pantheon in Paris

The magnificent monument is praised by its Gothic style of architecture combined with Corithian architectural patterns and aesthetically pleasing structures. This majestic neoclassical building with its 19th century paintings, sculptures and wall carvings is an awestruck sight to see.The interior is decorated with mosaics and paintings of scenes from French history. The facade make the monument darker from interior and more sombre.

In addition, you will get to visit many graves of renowned French citizens. The crypt houses more than 70 tombs of the great writers, scientists, generals, churchmen and politicians who have made the history of France. The Pantheon would take about 1- 1.30 hours to visit but if you want to see the crypt, you will have to take another 30-40 minutes.

Special Tip

There are some exceptions to the standard pricing of €11.50. You can enjoy a discounted fee of €9 per person if you register with a group of 20 or more people.
