Why to visit Trekking Dodabetta Peak
At 2637 metres, Dodabetta Peak is the highest mountain in the Nilgiri Hills (8652 feet). The Ooty Centre point is only a few kilometres away. The summit is surrounded by a forest reserve. It is home to a variety of endangered flora and fauna, as well as breathtaking scenery. This mountain's forests, greenery, and bushes are its main draws.
Doddabetta's summit has a peculiar flattened shape. The Shola vegetation covers the slopes and there are a few small trees in the thick, coarse grass. You'll come across coarse grass and flowering shrubs while hiking, which will entice you to continue exploring. The climb to the summit isn't difficult, and there's a Telescope House at the top with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, waterfalls, and forests. The clouds around you will astound you at the summit, and a cup of tea will undoubtedly make the experience more magical.
Ooty's nice weather makes it a good time to visit any time of year, but the best time to visit Doddabetta Peak is between October and January. To avoid the crow, the ideal time to see this amazing sight is early in the morning.
