Why to visit Mudumalai National Park

 Mudumalai National Park, which connects the Eastern and Western Ghats on the Ooty-Mysore route, is another destination for nature lovers to visit during their trip to Ooty. This national park is home to several wild creatures and a diverse avifauna, as well as a diverse flora. It's also been designated as a tiger reserve because it's home to about 50 tigers. If you're looking for a place to stay, the Forest Department has a number of guest houses located around the park. For starters, you're likely to witness elephants grazing freely in the countryside and other sorts of deer as you ride through the woodlands

The Mudumalai bus safari takes you on an hour-long journey through the bush. During rush hours or on weekends, however, you may have to wait an hour or more for a car to become available. So, if all you want to do is visit Mudumalai National Park for a forest safari, 2-3 hours should suffice.

If you wish to spend time trekking through the dense woodlands, you can plan a night stay. You can choose from a variety of rooms and dormitories.

For a Bus safari, they charge Rs. 340 per person, while for a Jeep safari, they charge Rs. 4200 per trip. and Rs.1,120 per trip for an elephant safari
