Why to visit Kalhatti Waterfalls
Waterfalls of Kalhatti Ooty is one of those places where you get the impression that God is a designer. The waterfalls are spectacular against the gorgeous backdrop of the Ghats. The Kalahatti waterfalls are around 15 kilometres from Ooty and can be reached after a two-mile hike from the Kalahatti village. Saint Agastya is said to have lived in these places during his lifetime. The waterfalls are surrounded by a diverse range of flora and fauna. As a result, the location is perfect for bird watching. Those who are more daring can go farther into the woods and explore the unknown.

The falls are most beautiful during the monsoon season, so go in December or January.
