Why to visit Sim's Park
Sim's Park is a park-turned-botanical garden surrounded by lovely creepers, plants, flowers, and shrubs. The park, which was founded in 1847, is almost a century old. Queensland Karry Pine, Bead Tree, and Handsome Ornamental Tree are some of the park's most popular plants and trees.
hTe park is 12 hectares in size and is separated into four sections: a tiny Lily Pond, a boating area, a rose garden, and a flowering plant area. The park's Annual Fruit and Vegetables Show, a two-day event featuring a range of exotic fruits and vegetables, is the park's centrepiece.
Another attraction is the Department of Horticulture's annual fruits and vegetable exhibition, which has been held successfully for the past 53 years. It is a two-day event that highlights a variety of exotic plant species, attracting about 25,000 visitors each year from all around the world. There is also a glass house and a rose garden, which provide you with a plethora of reasons to grin just thinking about visiting this location.
