Why to visit Muktidham Temple

It's a stunning structure composed of white marble from Rajasthan's Makran region. In the Muktidham complex, there is a temple devoted to Lord Krishna. Paintings illustrating incidents from Krishna's life and the Mahabharata can be found on the walls of the Krishna temple. Raghubir Mulgaonkar, a well-known painter, created these. Eighteen chapters of the Bhagavad-Gita are written on the walls of this temple, making it unique.

It contains replicas of all 12 Jyotirlingams, which have been sanctified by their original temples. There is also a Krishna shrine with paintings on the walls depicting his life and the first eighteen chapters of the Geeta. There are also temples dedicated to Laxmi, Hanuman, Durga, and Ganesh.

Special Tip

You can stay overnight at the dharamshala, which can accommodate up to 200 pilgrims, if you are visiting the complex.
