Why to visit Kalaram Temple
The Kalaram Temple is one of Nashik's most prominent religious places and temples. It is also regarded as one of Maharashtra's most renowned temples.
This temple has a similar architectural design to Trimbakeshwar's temple. The temple is entirely made of black stones, with four entrance doors facing East, West, South, and North, respectively.
The temple is also devoted to Lord Lakshman and Goddess Sita, in addition to Lord Rama. There was also a big protest outside the temple led by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at one point in history. The temple's construction is exquisitely carved from black stone, with gold-plated peaks.
The temple's overall structure is roughly 70 feet tall, and it has a captivating appearance. The spectacular edifice was built over the course of 12 years, using 2000 employees and costing a total of 23 lakhs. The stones used to build the temple were imported from Ramshej roughly 200 years ago.
