Why to visit Siddhi Vinayak Temple
The Siddhivinayak Temple is situated in Mumbai is one of the richest temples in the nation and is a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It was first built in 1801. It is located inside a tiny mandap.
A distinctive six-story building with a golden dome on top. Even so, the black idol of Shree Siddhivinayak has a peculiar trait; the trunk of a Ganesh idol rarely twists to the right. The major building materials are marble and pink granite, while the numerous domes inside the structure are either composed of gold or a combination of five different metals.
As one of Mumbai's busiest temples, there is frequently a line for the Siddhivinayak Live Darshan. Devotees can enter the Temple grounds through one of two Gates. From the Riddhi Gate, which offers a general Darshan, takes between 1.5 hours on normal days and 2 hours on Tuesdays while the Siddhi Gate, offers a free Darshan.
The Hindu mythology claims that Ganesha once complied with his mother Parvati's request to watch over her home while she bathed. Shiva, her husband, attempted to barge in during this time. Ganesha, however, fought against his father, who in the process hacked off his human head.
