This ethnographical museum houses nearly 2,500 artefacts that illustrate Mizoram's rich culture. Each of these things has a story to share about the state's ethnic history. Photographs, ancient artefacts, ancient musical instruments, and even natural history specimens are all kept in the museum.
On Macdonald Hill, near the Chief Minister's house, the Mizoram State Museum was founded in 1977. One of the most popular exhibitions here is a showcase of many distinct fabrics from various Mizo tribes. Overall, this museum is a treat for all visitors, particularly those with an understanding of history.
