Why to visit Boating in Tamdil Lake

Tamdil Lake, Mizoram's largest lake, is a man-made lake that exists primarily to serve as a beautiful nature for the state's tourism. Tamdil Lake, which means 'Lake of Mustard' in Mizo, is a gorgeous lake with spectacular terrain, crystal blue water, and a tranquil atmosphere. The lake is nestled amid evergreen trees and hills in the Mizoram hills, around 100 kilometres east of Aizawl.
The lake also provides a source of income for local fishermen. The state government manages the lake's boating services. If you don't want to go boating, you can take a stroll around the lake's shoreline or simply spread a blanket on the lush green meadows that encircle the area and read some books while soaking in the sun. The lake is bordered by so much vegetation and hills that it appears to be a pristine pond of water nestled among verdant meadows.
