Patalsu Peak, located at a height of 4,220 metres provides unparalleled views of the Himalayan landscape below. The Patalsu Peak trek is excellent for extremely fit beginners while being relatively difficult. Although the trip requires you to cross several narrow slopes, moraines, and steep inclines, the surrounding snowy peaks make every minute of effort worthwhile.

How to reach Patalsu Peak?

The closest airport to Patalsu Peak is in Bhuntar, which is located 11 kilometres from Kullu and 52 kilometres from Manali. You can take an overnight bus from Delhi or Chandigarh to Manali to the Patalsu Trek. Manali has good road access to urban areas. As the closest train station, Jogindernagar, is five hours away and must be reached by bus or cab, we do not advise that you take the train.

When is the best time to go for trek at Patalsu Peak?

The months of April through May and subsequently September through October are ideal for undertaking the Patalsu Trek. The weather continues to be pleasant during this time. With a maximum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 10, summers are ideal.
