Why to visit Jana Waterfalls

xOne undiscovered treasure in the Naggar region is the lovely Jana Fall. This fall is a wonderful picnic location because it is surrounded by deodar trees, pine trees, apple orchards, and stunning snow-covered mountain peaks.

The visitor will be surprised when they first see the falls because they are relatively hidden and the water abruptly flows from a group of rocks over a wooden bridge. You can even take a leisurely swim in the little pool of these falls' cascades or have a cool bath there.

An old wooden bridge that overlooks this fall offers the best views of the waters gushing from a great height and smashing a group of rocks below.

To get a better picture of the waterfall and its gorgeous environs, one can hike up the hill to its summit. The brief climb up the hill is not too difficult.

In addition to the waterfall's obvious natural splendour, the location has religious significance. At the base of the waterfall sits the temple dedicated to the local goddess Jogini Mata.

Special Tip

Tourists can ride two-wheelers to the waterfall, however it is not advised due to the area's rough and rocky terrain. Local delicacies are sold at a few kiosks close to the waterfall. Here, you must have a steaming plate of Maggi and a steaming cup of chai. If necessary, picnickers can bring snacks and drinks with them. Because the trekking terrain is rugged and uneven, use good hiking boots.
