Why to visit Diving in Banana Reef

Banana Reef is one of the Maldives' oldest reefs, with gorgeous caverns, majestic cliffs, beautiful coral growths, and tremendous overhangs. Banana Reef is also home to sharks, barracudas, and groupers, making it one of the most popular diving destinations in the world. The tranquil and benign currents, combined with excellent visibility, make it ideal for new divers, learners, and amateurs to get their feet wet. It's also a good alternative for skilled and experienced divers because it helps them to go deeper and better explore the fascinating world beneath the water's surface.

The dive has a wide range of depths, starting at 5 metres and going all the way down to 30 metres! The visibility in these beautiful waters is excellent up to 30 metres, and the water is also relatively accommodating.

Special Tip

It is best to get here early in the morning, by 9:00 AM so that you are not bothered by the troublesome heat. The session is about 30 mins long- a 30-minute window to experience paradise.
