Why to visit The locker and the loft
Interior-wise,the exposed metal pipes covering the ceiling and protruding out from the beaten-copper bar and walls, a clear tribute to the steampunk aesthetic, provide the industrial vibe beloved by many bars and cafés in the city an unusual twist.
The beverages selection is extensive, featuring a wide range of whiskies, rums, gin, vodkas, and other spirits. The cocktails here are made using local and Asian ingredients, and they have their unique cocktail menu. Jacked-up is a gin-based cocktail with mustard, jackfruit, Cointreau, and honey. The best aspect is that beverages are quite affordable.
The food menu, which consists primarily of finger foods and bar nibbles, is equally appealing. Expect zesty flavours as Tex-Mex-inspired meals are reimagined with local ingredients. The spicy yet irresistible mutton varuval quesadillas with mango chutney — a perfect complement to the drinks – are strongly recommended.
Special Tip
The roasted pork had a pleasant flavour with great fatty undertones and a supple, juicy texture. It's a dish you should try.
