Why to visit Table Land

The name Table Land refers to the wide area of flat laterite rock that is bordered by hills. After the Tibetan plateau, this volcanic plateau is the longest mountain plateau in Asia. Aerial footage of the entire Panchgani region as well as surrounding valleys are available here.

For those who enjoy the outdoors and want adventure, these naturally flattened hills are a great draw. Horseback riding, merry-go-rounds, miniature railways, food stands, and a few game stations are among the additional activities available at the location. Due to its elevation, the area also provides a bird's-eye view of Devil's Kitchen and the Rajpuri Caves.

Table Land is a well-liked location for Bollywood filming. This location has been used to film numerous films, including Raja Hindustani, Mela, Taare Jameen Par, and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. Although there is a solid highway road, it is a steep climb even though it is only a short distance by foot from the main Panchgani Market. Driving up to the Table Land is preferable because there is plenty of space for parking cars there.
