It's theoretically similar to daulat ki chaat from Old Delhi, but it's far more powerful and flavorful. The dish is light and fluffy on the outside, but incredibly creamy on the inside. This food item melts when exposed to heat. As a result, it's placed on top of a bucket full of massive ice pieces. It's made enticing by the vendors' sprinkle of khoya on top. This seasonal dish is a staple of Lucknow cuisine.
Must try this Daulat ki chaat or Makhan Malai if you are in Lucknow.
