The Hussainabad Trust built this 221-foot structure in 1881 at a cost of 1.75 lakhs, and it is styled after London's Big Ben Clock Tower. The clock is shaped like a flower, with 12 petals and a 14-foot-long pendulum. It is known as the country's tallest clock tower and features Gothic and Victorian architectural elements.This ancient tourist attraction in Lucknow, generally referred to as Ghantaghar, stands highest of its kind in India, amidst the turmoil of daily life. The interior of this must-see attraction in Lucknow is composed of gunmetal, a rare metal utilised in construction.
