Why to visit Notting Hill

You'll find everything here for affordable shopping in London, from small and unusual shops with vintage to high-end designer boutiques with a mix of boho and trendy in store. If you're looking for free things to do in London, a stroll through this area is one of them

Portobello Market is the name of a prominent Notting Hill market that runs along Portobello Road. Visit one of London's best markets. The main market days are Friday and Saturday, but a smaller market is held Monday through Thursday. Locals come here on weekdays to buy fresh fruits and veggies.

On Friday, used products are featured, but Saturday is the busiest market day, when all of the antique market stalls are set up and bargain hunters gather. Along the road, you'll come across several fantastic apparel stalls. This lively west London market, nearly a kilometre long, provides a limitless variety of items — plunge in and you're sure to find a one-of-a-kind souvenir.

Special Tip

Grab a dish of seasonal brunch at Bumpkin on Notting Hill's streets, and don't forget to stop by The Electric Diner for doughnuts and coffee.
