Why to visit Yaganti Temple

Sri Yagantiswamy is a temple devoted to Lord Shiva and is an excellent place to learn about Andhra Pradesh tourism. The ancient Sri Yagantiswamy temple, also known as Uma Maheshwara Temple, dates from the 5th and 6th centuries. The Ardhanareeswara idol, which is Shiva and Parvathi merged together, is housed in the temple. This interesting idol is made from a single stone and is a wonderful deity idol to see.

The temple provides free lunch and dinner in a large dining hall, and the food quality is excellent.
