Why to visit Chandratal Lake

Chandra Tal, commonly known as "Moon Lake," is the Chandra River's source. It is one of Manali's most beautiful trekking routes. It used to be a stopover for brokers travelling to Spiti and the Kullu valley from Tibet and Ladakh, but now it attracts a large number of pilgrims from all over the world. Chandra Tal Lake, located at a height of 4300 metres, is approximately 6 kilometres from the Kunzum Pass in the Spiti and Lahaul regions of India's Himachal Pradesh state.

The lake is only open to visitors during the summer months i.e august, September, october
