Within a dense forest of rhododendron dwarfs and Alpine pastures, this natural rock shrine can be found. After Kedarnath and Tungnath, this is the third temple on the Panch Kedar Mandir circuit. There are many small water tanks - kund near the temple, such as Tara Kund, Surya Kunda, Chandra Kunda, and others.
You can stop by the local temple in Sagar village on your way to Rudranath.
