The architecture of the old temple is fascinating, with numerous inscriptions, symbols, and drawings etched on it. The construction of this temple and the adjoining Sapta Godavari Kundam is shrouded in mystery. The temple, which is shaped like a fort, has drawn pilgrims from all over the world.
The darshan is closed from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. during the afternoon break.
