The Chour Ghati Trip is a lovely trek through the Aravalis remains, capped with lush green deciduous trees, chirping birds, peace and quiet of nature, and beauty of flora all around. Once you reach the top of the hills, the Galta valley reveals itself to be one of the most tranquil valleys within Jaipur's bounds.

Chour Ghati Trekking Route:

  • The trek begins at the main gate of the well-known Galta Ji Temple.
  • At the far end of the temple area, after passing through the gate, are the stairs that must be climbed.
  • Find the trek route marked on the map below, behind the temple, after crossing three Kunda.
  • Once you have the trekking track, begin climbing the cliff until you come upon a stone ramp walk.
  • Walking directly through the ramp (avoid going in the right direction from that ramp walk).
  • Continue on the straight path, which may be cluttered with bushes and long grass.
  • The ruined fort would finally appear in front of you. To get to the top of the fort and your viewing area, you must climb its stairs.

Starting Point: The trek starts and ends at the Galta Ji Temple main gate.

Sanganer Airport is the closest airport. To go to Galtaji, you can come here and arrange for a taxi or cab. Galtaji Temple is located 1 km from Bais Godam Railway Stop, the closest train station. Galtaji Temple is also accessible by road. You can take a bus to Vidyadharji ka Bagh, then an auto to Galtaji, from there. All major cities are very well connected to Jaipur. The most effective method is to travel to Jaipur, where you can hire a car or take a bus to Galtaji Temple.

A excellent time to plan this trek is during the winter. The mist and dew around the hills will break your heart even though there won't be as much greenery as during the rainy season.
