Why to visit Bijasen Tekri Temple

It is one of Indore's most popular tourist attractions, and it is said that if you worship here with perfect devotion, you can regain your lost vision. Bijasan Mata, who is said to be an incarnation of Durga, is honoured in this temple. The temple, which stands on an 800 foothill, was completed around 1920. To get to the temple, you'll have to climb more than 300 staircases. Mata's power is so strong here that it is said to be able to restore sight to the blind! Thousands of worshippers and visitors flock here each year for the famed Navratri Mela.

Special Tip

It is just located near the airport. Shopping stalls are also from the temple.
