Why to visit Har Ki Pauri
The world-famous Ganga Aarti takes place in the Brahmakund area of Har ki Pauri, a sacred site where the nectar (Amrit) is said to have fallen to earth. Kumbh and Ardh Kumbh, two of Hinduism's most important fairs, are held at Har ki Pauri.
