Why to visit Achyutraya Temple

The Achyuta Raya Temple, which was built in 1534 AD, is one of Hampi's most important temples. This temple was one of the last temples built during the Vijayanagara Empire and is known as the Tiruvengalanatha Temple after the principal deity, a form of Lord Shiva. The temple, which is sandwiched between the Gandhamadana and Matanga hills, is now mostly in ruins as a result of Bahamani Kingdom invasions. In comparison to the other Hampi temples, it features more modern architecture. Many sculptures on pillars, walls, and monolith slabs depict legendary legends.
