Why to visit Manas National Park

In Assam, Manas National Park is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site as well as a Project Tiger Reserve, Elephant Reserve, and Biosphere Reserve.

Manas is known for its diverse biodiversity as well as its breathtaking scenery and natural setting, which comprises a variety of forested hills, alluvial meadows, and tropical evergreen forests. It is home to the second-largest tiger population in India. It's also known for having a large population of wild water buffalo. Manas has the most number of endangered Indian species classified in the IUCN Red Book. Sitting on an elephant, one may readily see rhinos and tigers. For tourists to Manas, forest officials provide elephant rides from Mathanguri.
