Why to visit Fancy Bazaar, Guwahati
Assam's oldest and most famous market, is affectionately known as the "Chandni Chowk of Guwahati." It is the capital city's largest flea market.

Soft toys, tribal jewellery, wooden items, and gift shops have their own sections in Guwahati's main market. Famous Assamese products such as Jaapi (a round bamboo cap), Gamcha (a thin towel), Assamese saris, and bamboo pickles may all be purchased here.
