Why to visit The Bhadrakali Temple

The presence of the Bhadrakali temple is regarded as a vital component of the town, owing to the different legends surrounding the temple's construction. It is undoubtedly one of Gokarna's most powerful identities. The temple is located around 1 km from Gokarna and is part of the MAHABALESHWAR complex. Bhadrakali Temple has established a reputation as a temple where people make plans to visit because they believe that Mother Kali listens to everyone. The temple is a simple construction with two fearsome lions and two soldiers guarding the main gate on either side. According to mythology, the temple was built when Goddess Uma was abandoned by Ravana and Lord Vishnu told her to stay indoors. This was later transformed into a temple.
