The presence of the Bhadrakali temple is regarded as a vital component of the town, owing to the different legends surrounding the temple's construction. It is undoubtedly one of Gokarna's most powerful identities. The temple is located around 1 km from Gokarna and is part of the MAHABALESHWAR complex. Bhadrakali Temple has established a reputation as a temple where people make plans to visit because they believe that Mother Kali listens to everyone. The temple is a simple construction with two fearsome lions and two soldiers guarding the main gate on either side.
