You can also browse a limitless supply of raw silk, cotton, and embroidered materials. Among the hundreds of fabric reels, you're sure to discover the exact print and colour you're looking for.

The famed Textile Souk, located just across Dubai Creek from several other popular souks, is home to dozens of merchants and kiosks. Vendors present the finest textiles, silks, and designs from around the world, sure to transform or enliven any wardrobe. It's also simple to locate a qualified tailor who can create any form of outfit from your preferred fabric. Local merchants will offer you a drink of sweet tea while demonstrating their items and assuring you that theirs are better than the ones next door. Put on your haggling coat and don't pay more than 50% of the original price for anything. Pashminas, saris, abayas, and kaftans in every colour of the rainbow are stacked high in improvised kiosks.

If you'd rather take public transit to the textile souk in Dubai, simply catch a metro rail from any Dubai metro station. If you wish to take the metro, you must take the green line. Al Ras Metro Station will be your final destination metro station. You'll need to take a small boat from the metro station to go to your final destination. The boat is open 24 hours a day, and a ride costs AED 1.
