Why to visit Souk Madinat Jumeirah

This popular Arabic market is likely to give a modern touch on a typical souk. The souk, which is part of the stunning Madinat Jumeirah resort, has infinite passageways to meander through. As you walk through the meandering alleyways, the lingering fragrances of oud perfume and spicy spices entice you, while Persian rugs, Turkish ceramics, and gleaming jewellery compete for your attention. Retail therapy is without a doubt one of the most intriguing attractions in Madinat Jumeirah.

After you've finished shopping, relax at one of the numerous contemporary restaurants and bars in the Souk Madinat. You can also go to the adjacent Umm Suqeim beach and relax on the white sand overlooking the Arabian Gulf. If you want to see a show, the neighbouring Madinat Theatre has a choice of shows to distract and excite you. If you're searching for a relaxing getaway, you may take a tour around the resort. Take a five-kilometer voyage over the Madinat's twisting rivers on a traditional abra boat.

Special Tip

If you are hungry, the souk is surrounded by restaurants and bars. Honyaki (Japanese), Barzar (bar with live music), and Noodle House are all located close the main entrance to the west. The Pacha Nightclub is also located in this area.
