Why to visit Al Qudra Lake

Al Qudra Lake was originally designed to promote eco-tourism in the city, but it has since grown in popularity as a popular tourist destination. The site's peacefulness is enhanced by the true desert vibe. There are currently a variety of activities available at the site, including cycling, dining, photographing, and so on. Visitors can also see wildlife in their natural habitat, which is another highlight of the park. The region is also a great place to watch the magnificent Dubai desert sunset from a waterfront vantage point!

Take in the stunning desert sunset from the water's edge. From desert foxes to oryx, or one of the 170 bird species that live near the lakes, this is one region of Dubai where wildlife may be observed in its native habitat. Swans, geese, ducks, flamingos, and other birds are among the many species. Some of these local birds, such as the Steppe Eagle and the Asian Houbara, are even listed as endangered.

Foodies can feast at adjacent food trucks or try premium Arabian cuisine at Bab Al Shams, a five-star desert resort modelled after an Arabian fort, just down the road. You can also have a picnic or take a leisurely ride around the Al Qudra Cycling Track, which is located among the chain of lakes at Al Qudra.

To get to Al Qudra Lake, it's best to rent a car or drive your own vehicle. Al Qudra Lake, which is located on the Al Qudra Road (D63), is accessible through the Dubai Ail Ain Road or the Emirates Road, depending on your starting point. The lake is easy to locate and is also highlighted on Google Maps.

Special Tip

Barbecuing and lighting a campfire are prohibited due to the risk of harming the local fauna. If you want to make a campfire or grill something, make sure you do so in a pot or on the grill rather than on the sand.
