Why to visit INDIAN WAR MEMORIAL MUSEUM

The Indian War Memorial Museum is situated in New Delhi's Red Fort. The Red Fort's first and second levels serve as the museum. It was created to honour the soldiers who gave their lives fighting for Britain in the first global war.

The Indian War Memorial Museum in New Delhi's exhibits mostly feature militaria, as the name of the museum suggests. A diorama depicting the Battle of Panipat with Babur and Ibrahim Lodi facing off may be found in the first gallery.

The Indian War Memorial Museum's final two galleries display the effects of European industrialization on armaments and communication. It shows the invention of radars, telephones, telegraphs, periscope-equipped cannons, trench periscopes, and signal lamps that were made available throughout the conflict.
