Why to visit Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre

In 1959, the centre was founded. Tibetan craftsmen are trained in various crafts at this refugee facility, and the things developed by these artisans can later be purchased from the centre. Tibetan carpets, woodwork dcor, distinctive footwear, paintings, and wood carved goods are among the items available for purchase. Tibetan artists have carved out a space for themselves in the market. Tourists can watch craftsmen at work demonstrating their artistic abilities when visiting the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center. The selection of souvenirs available here is absolutely enormous. If you're looking for something unique to bring home from your trip, this is the spot to go shopping in Darjeeling.

Special Tip

It remains closed on Sundays.
