Why to visit Z point
Z Point, located near Kemmangundi and affording breathtaking views of the Western Ghats, is a vantage point that may be reached after a 3-kilometer journey. This hiking walk starts near Kemmanagundi Raj Bhavan and leads into the dense forest, where you will find Shanti Waterfalls. The walk is easy until Shanti falls, but it becomes more difficult after that. Towards the end of the journey, you'll encounter narrow path surrounded by deep valleys.
Special Tip
Leeches can seep into your skin if you don't wear boots, thick socks, and long pants on this walk.
