Why to visit MGR Film City
The MGR Film City, which was established in 1994 and is a relatively young construction, is operated by the Tamil Nadu government in loving memory of MG Ramachandran. The MGR Film City, which spans 70 acres in Taramani, Chennai, is a renowned tourist destination as well as the preferred location for several South Indian film makers. The film city has a film school, indoor and outdoor shooting locations, replicas of village and urban areas, a temple, church, mosque, post office, police station, prison, courtroom, and landscaped gardens in Italian, Japanese, and Mughal styles, in addition to being the best place to catch a glimpse of a popular Tamil actor.
