The city is home to a magnificent zoo, where you can see a variety of wild animals. Chhatbir Zoo, also referred as Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park, is a 505-acre wildlife park that houses species from all across the country. It is home to about 1200 critters from over 100 different species. The black buck, white buck, Asian gazelle, Asian elephant, common leopard, lion, leopard cat, Royal Bengal tiger, and white tiger are among the dozens of creatures you can see here. Furthermore, the park allows you to see several bird species up close, including falcons, doves, kalij pheasants, and bar-headed geese.
