Why to visit Bhuri Singh Museum

This museum, which is dedicated to the memory of Raja Bhuri (the former monarch of Chamba), displays miniature paintings from the Basholia, Kangra, and Chamba schools. The Bhumi Singh Museum's artefacts depict the history of Chamba and its monarchs, who were renowned patrons of the arts and culture. Aside from that, you'll see a variety of musical instruments, armours, traditional clothes, jewellery, and other artefacts that highlight the ancient Chamba's cultural characteristics. This is one of the most well-known tourist attractions in Chamba.

Special Tip

It is open all year and every day of the week, except Mondays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the gazetted holidays, it is closed.
