- Princess Siddhi Kumari, daughter of Late Maharaja Narendra Singhji of Bikaner, founded the Prachina Bikaner Cultural Centre and Museum in 2000, at the start of the new millennium, with a vision to preserve Bikaner's rich cultural diversity and to showcase Bikaner's monolithic identity in the form of a museum.
- The Museum houses items belonging to three generations of royal women, as well as furniture and silver used by the former Maharaja of Bikaner, Narender Singhji.
