Vidhana Soudha, one of Bangalore's most well-liked tourist sites, located close to Cubbon Park. This monument's construction involved 5000 unskilled laborers, all of them were prisoners, which is a noteworthy fact. Upon completion of the work, all of these former prisoners who had been employed were released. 1500 chiselers, masons, and wood carvers had to focus solely on the monument in addition to the labourers.

On Sunday evenings and on important occasions, the Vidhan Soudha's entire monument is illuminated by a million vibrant lights. Thousands of people come to see this amazing light display. Only in the evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm can one see this magnificent spectacle.
