Why to visit Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park

The park was created in 1995 and is situated in the heart of the city on a 17-acre stretch of lush greenery. One of the best, largest, and most technologically sophisticated melodic dancing fountains in the nation is housed there.

The Karnataka Horticulture Department is responsible for the park's exquisitely designed gardens and trees. The National Military Memorial, a 7.5-acre expanse of beautiful greenery created as a homage to the nation's war heroes, is next to the park.

Dancing Fountain Show:

  • The park's multimedia dancing fountain performance, which combines the ideal amount of music, lighting, and special effects, is what makes it so well-known.
  • It has more than 1000 nozzles and is known to be able to produce 15 different water formations and about 27 different combinations.
  • The park hosts two nighttime performances of dancing fountain shows, each lasting approximately 30 minutes.
  • The programme opens and closes with patriotic songs like Vandematharam and Saare Jehan Se Achcha, and the rest is a combination of well-known Bollywood music and Kannada songs.
