Why to visit Moti Mahal

Moti Mahal, also known as the ‘Pearl Palace’ is located a few kilometres from the town of Ayodhya in Faizabad. It was built in 1743 AD, the palace was residence of the Queen Begum Ummatuzzohra Banu, wife of the then Nawab Shuja-ud-Daulah. From this palace, the royals used to enjoy animal fights organized on the opposite bank of River Gomti. It is another brilliant example of Mughal architecture.
